Multiple layers of light for different moods and tasks include 8 inner lights for a decorative effect; 4 uplights for ambient illumination & 4 downlights for functional illumination. In summer; the fan pushes down a windchill that circulates to keep the space cool and comfortable. In winter; the fan is reversed to pull the room air towards the ceiling and force the warm air back into your space. The Smythe Craftsman Maplewood Chandel-Air is included in our American-made; American-designed handcrafted Chandel-Air Collection. Manufactured in Yorkville; NY. UL & cUL listed for dry and damp locations.
